Connie Tanner’s latest collages bring together fragments of her own handmade papers — cut, torn, layered, and rearranged into unexpected relationships.
Inspired by the fragments and contradictions of life, the works create a world of “quiet noise” — a place of comfort, possibility, and new ways of seeing.
As Tanner puts it: “You can never get it wrong; you can only get it different.”
