Fall for Arts 2026: Meet the Artists Behind the Murals
At this year’s Fall for Arts Festival on Roosevelt Island, artists transformed large panels into colorful works inspired by two themes: “Bridges & Connections” and “When I Dream.”
Throughout the festival, we spoke with participating artists about the ideas behind their murals and what it was like to create art in a public, community setting.
From personal stories and imagined worlds to reflections on connection, community, and the future, each artist brought a unique perspective to the festival’s themes.
