I have been a dedicated Roosevelt Island Art Association (RIVAA) member for over a decade. I might be considered an “outsider artist” in art lingo because my academic background is in Psychology rather than Fine Arts. Despite this, I have cultivated a deep passion for the visual arts that shines through in my paintings. I developed a fascination with trees, captivated by their diverse shapes and sizes. This all-consuming interest blossomed into an insatiable urge to capture their essence on paper, forever etching their beauty in my drawings. My artistic repertoire extends beyond landscapes; I am profoundly inspired by the mesmerizing images of the galaxy captured by NASA’s Hubble Telescope.
