Ukrainian artist Sophia Vitko has been residing on Roosevelt Island since 2022. Sophia is a self-taught artist with a profound love for the creative process. Sophia's artistic journey began with a fascination for digital art, particularly fractal art, creating mesmerizing 3D shapes with abstract backgrounds. Using primarily acrylic paints and occasionally working with ceramics, Sophia's art extends beyond traditional mediums. With a background in computer engineering, she explores the intersection of art and technology​ Her recent New York exhibitions include venues like Big Screen Plaza in Chelsea, RIVAA group shows, and a solo show at Octagon on Roosevelt Island. ​ Having taken art courses on contemporary art and art management, Sophia has refined her skills and gained a keen understanding of the art world. In addition to her artistic pursuits, Sophia's entrepreneurial spirit led her to creating mobile apps for artists, such as Artmywall and Wall Portfolio.
